Selling Your Brevard County Florida Home in a buyers market so fewer showings should be of little concern to me, right?
While it is true the real estate market in Brevard County, Florida is a buyer’s market, sellers (nor their real estate agent) should not rationalize the lack of showings is not a problem.
The truth is your house will sell in a buyer's market.
As of August 23, 2011 there have been 298 single family homes sold during August 2011 in Brevard County, Florida.
Of these 298 homes sold in August 2011 almost 30% (that is 87 homes) have been on the market less than 85 days.
In Brevard County, Florida, sellers who expect to sell will take a legitimate real estate selling strategy and not just "hope and pray." By the way I do not see anything wrong with some prayer as well!

Gary, It seems that we have been having fewer showings on our listings these days. I think that so many buyers have shifted to the internet for their home search. They are ruling out properties before they ever get out to look at them. But, funny it seems that the number of offers has increased... the last 3 offers my buyers have put in on properties had multiple offers on them.
Gary, you are correct about the prayer. Right now, we have more sellers then buyers, and the buyers are choosy, so the sellers need to be prudent and "price it right"
Gary, the Internet has changed how buyers view homes.....most start it on the Internet! Our sales in Vero Beach are up 30% over last year ....... price it right and they will come!
Sandy - Ruling out showings...that is what would concern a seller. To be ruled out and not know it! I need to to sell real estate the Sandy Shores way!
Ken - Prayer is a good thing!
Barbara - That is the key. I guess you and Sandy hit on it. Thanks.
