I just returned home from Rain Camp Orlando...with a tremendous headache! No, it was not the traffic although it was awful! No it was not anything I drank. Rather it was information overload. Never have I received so much information in one day!
Ben Kinney is very entertaining as well as knowledgeable in the ways of social media marketing. He provided some tricks, some good starting points and some "secrets!'
As things were wrapping up I wondered how I would implement these new strategies. My question, where were you 1,300 posts ago (my outside other blog)?
Aside from meeting some jewels of ActiveRain including TLW, Debe Maxwell, Sara (with no "H") Bonert, and Broker Bryant (OK, maybe not a jewel!), my friend Lisa Hill from Port Orange...wow, my head hurts!
Well, tomorrow I will review my notes and come up with some revised "stretegery" (thanks GWB)...but for now, in the words of Bob Hope let me say, thanks for the memories!
If Rain Camp comes to a town near you - go!

Sorry about your headache......but you are so lucky to get to attend
I really want to go!! I wish they posted a calender of events!! But I will keep checking and will be there the first time I get a chance.... Lucky you!
Now that's the type of headache I would have loved to have two times already...I can't wait to have one, and soon...
Ann - Thanks. My wife just came in and asked if I learned anything. After I responded she said..get to work implementing them!
Melissa- I would definitely go again!
William - I hope you get the chance . It was awesome!
Gary, yeah! It can be totally overwhelming! I've been to two of them and it gets a little bit easier the next time! And hey! You got to meet TLW and Debe!
Lucky you Gary. I hope you let us know some of the tricks you learned. I did after raincamp NYC
Gary
Rain Camp in Orlando was a productive day and I would highly recommend attending rain camp.
Good luck and success.

Kenneth - I an thinking my start is SEO and Facebook. I am excited!
Lou - Indeed it was a very productive day!
Patricia - It was good. I will attend again!
Gary - I felt the very same way after my first RainCamp but LOVED every minute of it. Good for you for taking the plunge.
I didn't have a headache, but I sure had lots of pictures of all the slide screens to sort through and put into action!
Michael - Thanks. I am definitely going again!
Jim - I wish I had taken the slides as well. Started working my notes...enjoyable for sure!
Hi Gary, I am so sorry that I missed meeting you at RainCamp. I loved your post. Ben Kinney had so many great ideas, that it really was hard to know just where to start. I felt the same way. I, too, was on information overload by the end of the day. I suppose I will start with one new idea at a time.
Sandy - Yep, Ben did a great job. There are lots of possibilities - just a matter of implementation. Thanks.
Gary, didn't get to meet you! :( There were just so many people (you know) and so much going on, it was hard to really make contact with as many people as I wanted to. Next time!
Sharon - I have said the same thing many times since Camp. I hope to meet you next time!
I'm still picking through all the information from Raincamp San Diego, and that was back on August 5!
I've been to quite a few seminars but I think Raincamp was by far the room full of the most enthusiastic people.
Russel - Here it is 2 months later and I too am still picking my way through it all.
Jim - You are right. I only regret that I did not get to meet more of my AR friend while at Camp.
