Behind every foreclosure is a......story person or family.
Sure there is always a reason or some story about what happens when a property is foreclosed but on this Christmas Eve I think of some I have seen over the past year.
One that I think about often is a foreclosure property in which I conducted an interior inspection. As I took photos of any empty house I noticed a hand drawn, brightly colored picture on the one of the kitchen cabinet doors. It was obviously drawn by a small child.
Its message was a simple one, "Happy Easter, daddy!" I hope that child is having a Merry Christmas because I am not sure Easter was that great!
So on this holiday, please be grateful for the ones you have and all you have.
Because behind every foreclosure and short is a person!

What the heck is with that TOTAL spam comment above me!!? I already reported it. I guess that LOSER didn't get the message that the comments are no longer catalogued by Google.
And your post is so true. I think people tend to forget that there are hurting people everywhere. And this time of year can be very difficult for them. We need to remember to keep them in our prayers.
The world is full of people who are hurting having been crushed by life ! My prayer is that GOD will slow me down so that I can minister to them and share His saving Grace ! Merry Christmas !!!
Gary, So very true. Behind every foreclosure is a family. Such a great reminder at this time of year. I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Hi Gary, so true and families are torn apart no doubt. it is the part of the business I hate. I sure hope the banks get real and help put these lives back together.
