UPDATE: As of August 24th at about 4 p.m I got my account back with a warning to not let some third party apps have control of my account. Still, not sure what I did.

I woke up this morning to find Twitter had suspended my account. I do a little research and can't figure out what is going on. So I arrived at this post by Connie Harvey.
It does hold a clue for me. Now I shall proceed to figure out why and appeal my suspended account!
Oh well, another "to do" item for today!
Twitter Suspended my Account so I Just Quit Blogging!
That doesn't make any sense does it?
This is what happened. I'm in the middle of a new class where I'm trying to improve my website, Blog and learn my new WordPress. Along the way, one of the homework items involved Twitter.
Apparently when I post here on Active Rain, I have the settings marked to send the post to My Outside Blog, My Facebook Page, My Twitter and who knows where else. I also have my Facebook set to forward my entries to Twitter.
So it appears that each post is hitting Twitter 2 to 3 times. This is against the rules and I have been suspended.
Am I the only one that didn't know this? We diligently went to all of our Social Network sites to make sure that nothing was directed at Twitter, but I've been afraid to post nonetheless! I get frustrated when I think that after 3 years of blogging here at ActiveRain, I still don't "get it".
OK, that's no excuse for me not blogging. I'll admit it. I fell back into IT.
I refuse to say the word, but I posted about it a couple of weeks ago. I had to read my own post on FEAR to get past it.
