Next month I will be buying a new car. Actually it will not be new but rather a year old, maybe two, at the the most. I usually keep my vehicles an average of eight years.
Ahh...buying a car.
I dread the experience.
Not because I don’t want (and need) a new car but I know I am going to be on the receiving end of the “hard” sell.
I will not like it.
Eventually I will work with the car salesperson who treats me the best, understands my wants and lets me decide to buy…in other words, no “hard” sell.
It is situations like this that form the basis of my relationship with my customers, clients and raw leads.
I will never give them the “hard” sell for two reasons":
- I hate it and
- They will know what they want to buy when they see it.
My job is simply to understand their needs, place the right subject in front of them and negotiate a deal that gets them the best price.
No hard sell, here.
No arm twisting…just professional, respectful service.
