Surviving your Serengeti: An ActiveRain Challenge is one of the more interesting challenges I have seen on ActiveRain in my four years here. It has taken me a few days to get around to it - thanks to business but it has been well worth the morning spent reading and writing.
If you have not read the post yet, yo may not understand but let me say - I am a giraffe! You know, for my current weight, I have always had the desire (or need) to be much taller. I have made it!
These first two chapters provide an interesting storyline. Sean and Ashley, a couple with obviously different things on their minds - she, adventure, he his business, travel tp Aftrica. How many of us would welcome such a trip?
But the feeling I have is things will change as the days spent along the Serengeti with an old friend reveal insights to Sean and Ashely (and ourselves).
This book will be a must read for me to not only see how the story plays ou
t but more importantly to see the obvious comparisons and contrasts of the animals of the Serengeti and relate them to real people in a real world.
As a giraffe I will continue to use my grace and compassion to help my clients, my friends, my family and live my life in the only way I know how.
