On April 1, 2011 there were 3.962 active residential listings in Brevard County, Florida. As May 2011 begins this number has fallen to 3,729 residential listings. There are 918 active residential short sale listings – down from April’s beginning of 1,014. Could this signify a change in the market or an increase in lender approvals?
April 2011 started with 296 bank owned foreclosure listings. As May begins there are 242 active foreclosure listings. Could this signify a change in the market?
There are 995 active condo listings as May begins – down a bit from 1,091 at the start of the month. Even the 286 active town house listings is down fifteen from April 1st.
Although it is still a buyer’s market, sellers should look at the decreased inventory as less competition!
