I am sitt
ing here beating myself up trying to find something to write for this 31 Days of May Challenge. I have never participated in any of these and it is a real challenge for me.
But it really is nothing....
It is not like that Marine, Sailor, Airman, or Soldier who is awaking to the challenge of another day away from their family, their home, their loved ones, possibly in harm's way wondering what hostility will show its face today.
It is not like that police officer or firefighter who will be put in harm's way today as they work hard to protect and serve their fellow man. Or the family of that police officer waiting at home for dad or mom to get home from their shift!
So as I sit here this morning dealing with this blog challenge I am OK with it as I am sitting here protected and free because others are facing greater challenges than I!
